Is MLM or Network Marketing Just a “Recruiting Business”?

EXAMPLE #1:
Raffy Calicdan

As in maganda talaga.

EXAMPLE #2:
Facial Wash

EXAMPLE #3:
Restaurant

Network Marketing is not all about “recruiting people to join the business.” It’s about SHARING THE BENEFIT of your product, service or business that will help them solve their problems. Example, if you are in the health and wellness industry, share to them how the products can help them with their health, if it’s service, tell them how they can save money by using your service, etc..
Check mo muna yung products at kung magbebenefit ka ba dun, then look deeper into the business if you are already a believer of the product, and start earning from sharing. As in MALAKI ang potential income. Kaya wag mong maliitin ang Network Marketing. Ganun lang sya actually kasimple, marami lang talagang gahaman at mapagsamantala.
If you are a networker reading this post, I hope you have learned something from this. If you are not yet a networker and trying to look for the right opportunity for you, tumingin ka muna sa product or service na makukuha mo. Dun palang, worth it na yung pera mo.
Know more about this industry and start changing your life! Magdecide ka lang at magtake ng action.

5 Reasons WHY You Should NOT Start a Facebook Page for Your MLM Company

Should You Start a Facebook Page for your MLM Business?

excited

Many people will join a new opportunity and get extremely pumped about the product, the compensation plan, bonuses and etc.

They blast out links constantly on their profile until they annoy everyone and then someone tells them they should start a Facebook business page to showcase their products and reach more people.
Fair enough — better to do business on a page anyway right?
So you start your page and ask all of your friends to LIKE it — whom you may have already annoyed posting about the product on your profile — and you start posting about the product, how great it is and etc.

No big deal right? I’d say WRONG! Here’s why…

5 Reasons You Should NOT Start a Facebook Page for Your MLM Business

1) You’ll Leave the Business

shiny-objectNo matter how much you love the product you are pushing the likelihood of you still selling that product 3, 6, 9, 12 months from now is pretty limited.

Most people in MLM companies fizzle out in 2-3 months.
They get bored or discouraged and move on to other things.
If you have created a page around a particular product and get out of that business your page is basically dead now and any work you’ve done on it is pointless.

2) Parent Company Goes Out of Business

What if you built a page around say the product Scentsy (as shown below) and at some point that company goes out of business?
scentsy facebook page
Now you’re left with a Scentsy related page with a few hundred followers that you can’t use. They won’t be interested in hearing about another product you are peddling. And typically Facebook won’t let you change the name after getting a certain amount of fans.
So now the page you’ve worked so hard on to get more Facebook Likes is useless.

3) MLM Company Does Not Allow You to Run a Facebook Page

not-approvedMany MLM companies do not technically allow you to create websites or Facebook pages using the company name.
You could find yourself getting removed as a distributor or worse yet get a cease and desist letter in the mail!
You should dive into your distributor agreement to see if you can even use the company’s name or logo online.
You’ll be shocked to see that most say you cannot do this.
Scentsy technically owns this page now and could probably make a submission to Facebook about a duplicate page and take it over.
If you dive into Facebook’s terms of service you’ll find that if you aren’t an official representative of a company you can’t run a page in the name of the company:
A Page for a brand, entity (place or organization), or public figure may be administered only by an authorized representative of that brand, entity (place or organization) or public figure (an “official Page”).
Unless you are Scentsy you shouldn’t have a page named Scentsy — or any other MLM product.

4) Causes Confusion

mass confusionI bet within 30 seconds I could name at least 30 of my personal friends and family that are selling some other MLM product.
Imagine if they — along with the millions of others selling products — all had a Facebook page about their MLM business!
There would be brand confusion.
Who is officially a rep from Scentsy? Can’t I just buy from any of them since it’s all the same product?
Too many pages about a product diminishes the product to me and causes confusion among consumers.

5) You’re Branding the Company Not YOU!

branding on facebookThis reason is the biggest reason to not start a Facebook page for your MLM business in my opinion.
Cortney Scott submitted her Scentsy page for me to review on a recent post on thePost Planner page and while I think the cover photo looks great I think Cortney is wasting her time with this page.
Minus her name being on the name of the page do you see Cortney branding herself in anyway in the Cover Photo or Profile Picture?
Nope..
She’s branding the Scentsy company.
Great for Scentsy, bad for Cortney.
If another Scentsy rep pops up on Facebook those that have Liked Cortney’s page are likely to go and give that page a LIKE as well.
Now who do they buy from???
And again what happens when Cortney leaves Scentsy or they go out of business?

2 WAYS HOW TO MOTIVATE YOUR DOWNLINES

2 Ways To Motivate Your Downlines

Paano ba i-mo-motivate ang ating mga downlines? There are 2 ways.
Dun sila nagkamali. It takes time, effort and consistency to become successful in network marketing.

10 Things You Must Give Up To Move Forward

MENTALITY: Rich People VS Average People

THE rich think differently to the rest of us.

You need look no further than mining magnate Gina Rinehart with her “get out of the pub” comments or billionaire Clive Palmer’s plans to build Titanic II to see that.

The author of How Rich People Think, Steve Siebold, recently told the Business Insider the differences between how rich and average people think are numerous and extreme.

Here are 15 of his top insights:

1. Rich people think selfishness is a virtue
Average people feel they need to save the world and put others before themselves which is keeping them poor. Rich people take the attitude that if they don’t help themselves first they can’t help anyone else.

2. Rich people have an action mentality
You wouldn’t see a rich person lining up to play the lottery (even before they were rich). Average people are always waiting on someone else to help them get rich – the Lotto, Government, friend or spouse – but it only keeps them poor. Rich people take action and spend time solving problems.

3. Rich people favour specific knowledge over formal education
Average people believe the road to riches is through doing masters and doctorates. Rich people are generally rich because they have made money selling a specific knowledge they have acquired.

4. Rich people dream of the future
Rich people spend a lot of time looking into the future, setting goals and looking forward to what lies ahead. Average people dwell on the past which often holds them back by making them unhappy or depressed.

5. Rich people think about money logically
Average and well-educated people can fall into the trap of thinking about money emotionally and just wanting to retire comfortably. Rich people maintain a logical relationship with money viewing it as a tool that represents options and opportunities.

6. Rich people follow their passion
Oprah Winfrey said it – you’ve got to follow your passion and do what you love. Rich people find a way of getting paid for doing something they love. Average people earn money doing things they don’t love.

7. Rich people aim high
Average people set low expectations to avoid disappointment whereas rich people set huge expectations and follow their dreams.

8. Rich people believe you have to “be” someone
Average people on the other hand believe you have to “do” something to be rich and focus on immediate results. Rich people continuously focus on bettering themselves and learn from success and failures.

9. Rich people use other people’s money
Average people believe they need their own money to make money whereas rich people have no problem using other people’s.

10. Rich people live below their means
It seems contradictory to the above statement but rich people adopt the attitude of getting rich so you can afford to live below your means. Average people live beyond their means.

11. Rich people teach their children how to be rich
Average people teach their children how to survive whereas rich people teach their children from an early age about the world of haves and have nots.

12. Rich people don’t let money stress them out
Average people do. Rich people find peace of mind in wealth and are not afraid to admit that money can solve most problems – allowing them to make more money. Average people see money as a continuous battle and necessary evil they have to endure.

13. Rich people would rather be educated than entertained
Average people are the opposite. They read novels, tabloids and entertainment rather than continuously educating themselves after school.

14. Rich people surround themselves with like-minded people
Average people think rich people are snobs and have a negative attitude towards the super rich. Rich people steer clear of the doom and gloom attitudes and people – adding fuel to the fire of the “snob” label.

15. Rich people focus on earning
Average people focus on saving and miss big opportunities by trying to live frugally. Rich people constantly focus on the big picture – and how to earn the big bucks.

10 MLM Success Tips

1. Be Ethical: The world of direct selling and multi-level marketing is littered with unscrupulous people and selling tactics. Despite what pressures may be upon you driving you towards MLM success, be careful to run your business above bar in all respects.

2. Sponsor, Don’t Recruit: Many MLMs incentivize representatives to recruit other sales representatives. Obviously, it will improve your profitability and recruitment numbers if your new recruits stick around for awhile. By setting aside time and resources to properly train your recruits on business practices and products, your retention rates will be better.

3. Find a Company With A Product You Love: You can’t sell something or share your business if you don’t genuinely have pride in what you are representing. Do your MLM research and determine to partner with a company you can take pride in. Don’t forget to look into the company’s compensation plan before you join and make sure it is favorable to you.

4. Make an Effort to Share Your Product Everyday: Do something for your business everyday. Whether that is sharing a product sample, inviting a neighbor to host a product party or starting a website or social media account.

5. Book At Least Three Parties: For an MLM with a product-party focus, make sure and walk away from each event with at least three more parties on the schedule. Doing so will ensure you grow your business rather than just sustain it.

6. Educate Yourself on Different Ways to Market: If you excel at direct selling, but aren’t very computer savvy, take some time to learn how a website, email and social media can excel your business and product sales. If talking to customers is where you fall apart, brush up on your communication strategies.

7. Don’t Barrage Your Friends and Family: You are going to be excited about your new business, and MLMs do a great job trying to generate an immediate frenzy with new recruits. My advice is to take a deep breath before you blast into your personal relationships. It is important to draw customers from your inner circle, but there is a fine line between inundating and informing.

8. Be Genuine: & Listen: Listening goes hand in hand with being genuine. If you are having a “conversation” with someone but thinking only about the next thing you plan to say or share, you aren’t listening and you are going to miss something important. Telling isn’t selling. Understanding and meeting your customer’s needs will sell product.

9. Creatively Share Your Business: It is truly possible to share your business with everyone without sounding like a ranting lunatic. By being creative in how you introduce your business or use products publicly, you can draw in interested individuals naturally.

10. Brush Up on the Realities of Most MLMs: Success and income generation aren’t as fruitful as most MLM companies would have you believe. Statistics show that less than one out of 100 MLM representatives actually see MLM success or make any money. Additionally, MLM scams and unsavory business practices are prevalent in the world of MLM. Watch out for warning signs of MLM scams.

Only Poor Mind Thinks It Does Take A Big Capital to Start A Business

In the book Rich Dad Guide to Investing; Robert Kiyosaki, New York Time Best Selling Author explains that it doesn't take money to make money. People who thinks that it takes money to make money are people who where from the employment quadrant. And for an entrepreneur it doesn’t take money to make money because their primary ally is time. Yes, money can be a factor, but a start-up entrepreneur can use TIME as his leverage to make money.
Many people nowadays wants to start their own business because they think that it’s the best way to get rich but most of them can not start right away because they are too busy and most of all don’t have capital to start with.

People Who Started Their Own Business With Little or No Capital to Start.

In this blog post I’m going to share with you the biographies of successful people that I’ve research and people that I’m following online. These people had proved that It Does Not Take Big Capital to Start a Business.
  • Mark Zuckerberg – started his multi-billion dollar business inside his boarding room without money which is now Facebook.
  • Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim former employee of Paypal founded YouTube inside the garage.
  • Michael Dell founder of Dell Inc, started his business with a screw driver on hand and working on old computers inside his garage.
  • Mike Dillard – a former waiter from a Chinese restaurant in Austin, Texas with a huge chunk of credit card debt started his multi-million dollar business inside his apartment with no capital which is now Magnetic Sponsoring.
  • Dani Johnson – founder of Call to Freedom International, LLC was a homeless female cocktail waitress with a $30,000 debt and $2.30 on her pocket made millions of dollar on her business without capital to start with. She is now a Best Selling author and motivational speaker.
  • Carlo Ocab – founder of www.carlocab.com, a 13yr old kid from Manila, Philippines made a 6-figure business inside his room with no capital to start with. He is featured on different newspaper in Manila.
  • Lloyd Luna – a poor teenage kid from Gumaca, Quezon province in the Philippines started his business Lloyd Luna Communications with no capital to start with. Millionaire at the age of 26, now an international speaker, and country’s foremost career philosopher.
  • RJ David – a 27yr old, former mechanical engineer was influenced by the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki”, started his own business in May 2006 inside his own house together with his wife Ariane with a very minimal capital that buying an LCD TV or a laptop is more expensive. Today his company Netrepreneur Connections Enterprises, Incorporated also known as Sulit.com.ph has undisclosed amount and sounds like it involved hundreds of millions.
There are lots of millionaires and billionaires today that started their business with no – minimal capital to start with. What they have is determination to succeed and to pursue their dreams.

How to Make People Buy Now

"People Buy You First, Your Company and Products Last"

A lot of network marketers try to do this backwards. Business is a bit like dating, you are not going to propose a wedding on your first date right? Because you need to know each other first.

It's the same way in your business. You don't need to impress your customer with all the wonderful features of your products, company and comp plan right away, because that is doing it backwards. It's like telling to a girl that you just met how handsome and how awesome you are and that you need to marry each other right away.

What you need to do is to build a rapport with your customers first. Be genuinely willing to help, and share your knowledge that will serve them. This will show that you are an expert on the subject.

Once you are able to do this, they will see the value in you and trust you, and will be wanting to buy anything you sell, without you even try to do so.

How to Get Rich?

To Learn How

Trust is the Key

Here’s a quick post and a funny story that I encounter recently.
A network marketer sent me a message on Facebook telling me that he’s into advertising business and that I should come to his office for a job briefing. Then I replied to him that he should create rapport first. Now, the funny thing is he unfriend and even blocked me.
Now what is the moral lesson in this story.
In the network marketing or any sales industry, trust is the key factor why people buy to your products and why new business ventures is executed. Remember the classic NDO (New Distributor Orientation) training, before we setup someone for a business opportunity meeting. We should know our prospects goals, wants, and weakness. This process what they call the FORM (Family, Occupation Recreation, and Message) process.
Because if we know our prospects needs, then we can say to them the right message they wanted to hear. This is a simple saying that you should know who are enemies are. So that you would know when to attack and sneak-in.
The best persuasion that you can do to make a person sign-up on your opportunity is to develop trust and relationship.
Here’s my simple formula about network marketing.
Network    = Relationship
Marketing = Business
Network + Marketing = Relationship Must Comes First Before Business!
